| Piloma Picasso....where did Tentations go? | | Does anyone know what happened to Tentations by Piloma Picasso??? It's been my no 1 fav for years and has slowly but surely got more and more difficult to find. My last effort before giving up was to search e-bay but alas only 2 bottles priced at over £100...I think not, I love the stuff but not that much!! Or maybe someone knows of a perfume that's similar...I'd love to hear. | |
| | My Beta fish Picasso died today | | I know he is just a fish to most people, but we had him for over a year. I grew to love him fish or not. He was so beautiful when he swam in the tank. His beautiful red tail would spread out like a fan. I will miss him. I loved to watch him swim. The last couple of days he wasn't acting like his usual self. He wasn't swiming & he wasn't eatting. My husband tried to tell me he was dying, but I didn't want to believe it. We had him for more then a year. In fact he was the first fish we bought, way before we bought any of the others. I'm just so sad. I keep telling myself it's only a fish, but to me he was more then that. I will really miss him. | |
| | beware of that Picasso you bought on ebay, it is likely a fake | | Ok, most of us on here couldn't afford to buy a picasso, but this is just one more sign of being careful on ebay, some of these people will do anything that they can to make a buck....thousands of prints have been sold online, since 1999...>Sale prices ranged up to $50,000 for counterfeit prints that came with forged artists' signatures and fake certificates of authenticity that were sold in galleries, at art shows and through Internet auction site eBay, Fitzgerald said. <http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080321/od_nm/art_fakes_odd_dc;_ylt=AnRTnaxph9WJQlOWKegWS57tiBIFI have seen people who have, and have been taken on ebay mysef, not to the tune of 50,000, but one would think that selling artwork like on this that could be worth a fortune for a song and dance

And the performance is great!, it has a low cost, considering all the hi tech that has on it. Do you test it? | |

| | Matisse or Picasso? | | Who was the best artist of the 20th century? Many critics suggest either Matisse the colourful fauvist or picasso the wacky cubist. Or do you prefer someone else?ww.amazon.com/Art-Casso-Paint-Kit-for-Cats/dp/B000T5QND4?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1186075347&sr=8-1 | |
| | Why would you steal a Picasso painting? | | News is that someone stole 2 paintings out of a family member of picasso's home. The 2 paintings were valued around $66 million but the question is, why would you even bother to steal something so obviously noticable? Not like you can drop it off for a high priced auction and unless the only people you ever deal with are complete derelicts or total underground types if you hang it in your house someone is going to notice! DUH!So can you seriously think of any reason to steal these paintings and what you would do with them?ww.amazon.com/Art-Casso-Paint-Kit-for-Cats/dp/B000T5QND4?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1186075347&sr=8-1 | |
| | Picasso Paintings worth at least $66 MILLION STOLEN... | | I was watching the news this evening, and I could not believe that 2 pablo picasso paintings were stolen. And, they are worth about 66 Million dollars (or £34m, in Euros). I did not believe that someone could steal the paintings from a museum, but, as it turns out, they were stolen from his granddaughter's Paris apartment. Who could have planned this type of thing? They would have had to know that the two paintings in the museum, are copies, and that the originals are in her home. I wonder if the thief looked up the granddaughter, or already knew her. This is amazing, because if those paintings are not found they could be sold on the black market, and not be found for years...especially if they are saved in private collections...there are people that would pay for them, such as wealthy collectors. Here is the article that I had been reading, after I saw the brief on the news.http://cnnstudentnews.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/02/28/picasso.theft.ap/index.html | |
