| Blair & Dorian Grey Gardens Spoof | | Did anyone else thoroughly enjoy Blair's vision of her and Dorian as the two Edies? I found it to be a smart comical break from the ongoing Nora/Bo/Clint and Rex/Gigi/Stacy dramas that have been dominating the soap these days. That kitty was so cute, wish they had kept him. | |
| | Lost or stolen? | | On my way home tonight I stopped to visit my mum. She didnt look well but assured me she was ok. Then she told me that she'd been shopping and had either lost her credit card, bank card, bus pass and some money - or had them taken from her bag[em]sad[/em] She is always very careful to fasten her bag but, when she went to use the card, the zip was partly undone & the cards were gone. She has reported all of them as missing to the appropriate establishments. Fortunately she acted very quickly so they have all been cancelled.
Thankfully, if someone did take them, at least they did her no physical harm in doing so.(A bit sad that we actually think along those lines isnt it?) I think she's dealt with it better than I would have done bless her.

| How Can We Make Her Understand? | | My husband has an 87 year old grandmother who has just been told she needs a knee replacement operation. The problem is that the house she lives in is over three stories and is too big for her to look after and live in alone. She struggled to get up to bed and her heating bills are very high.Her family have been trying to convince her to move out but she gets very angry and upset and accuses us of bullying her out of her home. The thing is she has lived in that house for over fifty years, it's where her hudband died and where her children were born.After she has her operation she will find living there even more difficult, so how can we make her see sense and move out into a place where she can move around better? | |
