Ok I have instruments for my kids, not great ones, but starter instruments.....I have a flute, violin, clarinet, and very old keyboard which I let them have fun with...
My 12 year old has had NO music lessons, has never been taught how to finger anything on the clarinet, but by ear alone, she has learned how to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.....
One time on our keyboard she was playing, by ear the sound of music theme song....she even got the little run in there, she can't play chords, but she is very talented when it comes to music.
Both my girls, 12, and 9 have incredible voices
But alas, with all that said, I can not get them voice or music instruction/lessons because I just can NOT afford it.
