| HELP! The speedometer of my boyfriends Chevy SUV is not responding! | | I have noticed this before but after days of using it, it would move again. I mean the speedometer is not responding right now...even if I drove it back and forth. I rarely use it because it uses too much gas...I'm used of my acura Integra(4 cylinder only!). Last night, I drove it and still the speedometer is not moving at all. I already told my boyfriend about it and he said that maybe I'm hallucinating. Haha! By the way, the Chevy is on my place since he's working in the ship right now. I don't have enough money to send it to a repair shop and it's also not mine anyway, lol. I would like to but I want him to give me permission and money too(of course!). I just don't want it to get worst!Any advice?!? | |

Vehicle theft continuing to decline

By David Goldman, CNNMoney.com staff writer Once again, the 1995 Honda Civic was the most stolen car in America, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, but auto theft appears to have declined dramatically for the fourth year in a row.In its annual "Hot Wheels" report, the NICB said the '95 Civic was followed by the '91 Honda Accord, the '89 Toyota Camry and the '97 Ford F-150 as the nation's most stolen cars in 2007. The top four on the list are unchanged from 2006. For the fourth year in a row, the '95 Civic has been in the top 10.But overall vehicle theft dropped 8.9% in 2007, according to the FBI's preliminary Uniform Crime Report. Incidences of auto theft have declined nationally every year since 2004."The continuing national decrease in vehicle theft is a positive sign that the fight against vehicle theft by law enforcement, the insurance industry and the NICB continues to be effective," said Robert M. i just bought a new distributor cap for my car. what is the order for hooking the spark plug wires to the distributor cap? i marked the wires 1,2,3,4 as to how they were originally. i went online and saw a totally different configuration? when i try to start my car, nothing happens. when i switch the wire back to the way they were orginally, i can hear that it wants to turn over but it doesnt? HELP!!! any thoughts as to what i need now? or what i may have done wrong? | |
