| Who else miss '90s music? | | I so so love 90s Music. I still keep on listening to my old CDs, casette tapes and download music from that decade. Who'll agree with me when I say it's the best decade?LOL or maybe that was just the decade I started loving music..But really, I miss the old BSB, SPice Girls, Take 5, BoyzIIMen, E-17, and all those dance groups present that decade..The music that time was just so refreshing, fun and easy to sing along to.. | |
| | | | Who is Your Favorite Nineties Band/Artist from America? | | Remembering the nineties is one remarkable moment for music. At least it catered to a lot of new and fresh musicians that helped shaped this generation. I consider myself as a part of that genre, it was the time of my adolescent years in music and subculture. There are bands that really influenced and inspired me during that time up to this day like for instance "The Lemonheads" - a band from boston that gives a superb definition of cool style and music. Others are "Gin Blossoms", "Rancid", "Green Day", "Spin Doctors", "Counting Crows", "Sponge" and a lot more.
How about you? Can you name a band or some artists that you like during those times? Whether you came from that genre or just diggin some inspiration and studying some roots of the current artists that you like. Name one or a couple? | |
| | Who Do You Think Is The Classic Album of the 90's? | | I know most of us think that Nirvana "Nevermind" album is the best classic album of the 90's. However, for me I disagree on that matter. In my opinion, the best album that helped shaped my 90's life is the group called "Lemonheads" and their classic album entitled "It's A Shame About Ray". What's also good about it is that I wasn't the only one who thinks and feels that it deseves an award or recognition but my favorite Brit magazine as well which most of us know as NME or New Musical Experience. Its entirely fitting that the Lemonheads "It's A Shame About Ray" should be the inagural choice. For me it is an album of great charm and warmth that stands the test of time and you can hear the echoes of..."ray" in loads of the great music that is made today. You? Which album is the best during the 90's that deserves to be called as classic? | |
| | | Vh1's TOP 100 songs of 90's | | I'm up late, about to go to bed, when something caught my eye. I had to watch VH-1's top 100 songs of the 90's. Talk about flashbacks. 100 was Rico Suave by Gerardo. Do you remember that song? He was hot, still hot. I loved that song. Well now he's a minister and sings in church in Anaheim, and has a gospel album. He also was a talent scout prior to that and signed Enrique Iglesias. Well, I don't know how long I'll be up, but if you watched it, list a song and tell what number it ranked at. I hope this is a fun discussion. | |
